A Few Things To Note:

  • For Multiple Pax Tickets: Please add each ticket to cart individually to ensure each pax’s food and drink selection is captured correctly. If multiple tickets are added under one selection, all pax will receive the same food and drink option.
  • Arrival instructions: Drop in from 6pm. There’s no formal start time — just ease into a game whenever you arrive.
  • What to bring / Preparation: No need to prepare. Just bring your best game face (and maybe a little luck).
  • Age restrictions: Open to guests aged 12 years and above.​
  • Refund / Cancellation policy: Kindly note that reservations are non-refundable and non-cancellable. 
  • Rescheduling rules: As our team prepares each session ahead of time, we are unable to accommodate cancellations or rescheduling. All bookings are final. 

FAQs

Do I need to arrive on time?

No, there is no need to arrive early. Guests may arrive anytime from 6pm onwards, dine first and join a table when ready.

Is this a ticketed event?

Yes, this is a ticketed experience. Your ticket secures your seat for the open-play mahjong session, as well as a set of CMCR’s Asian Flavours dishes and a drink.

Is this considered gambling?

No stakes, just good play — please note this is a non-gambling session. Mahjong Social Club is a social, recreational experience. There is no gambling, betting or exchange of money involved in gameplay. The focus is on casual play, community, food, and conversation.

Will there be tickets sold at the door?

Yes, door tickets include entry and one drink only and are subject to table and game capacity.

Do I need to know how to play mahjong?

Preferably yes, beginners are welcome. The format is casual and self-guided, so you can learn as you play or join at your own comfort level.

Will the outlet still be open to the public?

Yes, the Joo Chiat outlet will still be open to the public.

What is the minimum number of players required?

A minimum of 8 players needed for event to proceed. If this is not met, we’ll be in touch to arrange the next steps.
